Hike Across Spain For Good
Hiking the Camino will be a very personal journey, but I want to help others in the process by raising money for 3 charities that have special meaning to me. My goal is to raise $10,000 for EACH of 3 charities. I invite you learn more about these charities below, and consider helping out.
THANK YOU!
NAPA Center Kids Foundation
This is a charity that hits very close to home for me. My daughter works as a pediatric physical therapist for NAPA Center, which provides innovative, intensive therapies for kids with a variety of neurological and developmental disorders, to help them reach their full potential in life. NAPA Center therapists truly are doing god's work; but it's expensive, along with all other costs of raising a child with a disability. You can help by donating to the NAPA Center Kids Foundation, which provides grants to children and their families for access to needed equipment, education, innovative therapies; and to help support their integration into the community. American Cancer Society
This is another charity that hits very close to home for me. Both my mom & dad died from lung cancer; I've had many other family members and friends die from cancer; and I'm sure you have too. It sucks. Many do survive their cancer scares, but I'd like to think that we can help to create more of these survival stories. You can help by giving to the American Cancer Society. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
This is a charity that has a special meaning to me as it directly relates to my decision to hike The Camino! A lifelong family friend and his wife recently retired and hiked The Camino. As part of their Camino experience, they raised over $40,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, to help improve the lives of their two children, and the thousands of others with cystic fibrosis (CF). I followed their journey and was truly inspired! I want to 'give back' for the inspiration by helping to raise money for CF. By giving, you can help to cure CF too, and provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. To learn more about the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and to DONATE, visit
